Looking for ways to support VoiceCatcher and the community of PDX Women
Writers? We've got just the thing: a few special order volunteer
positions for lawyers and/or graphic designers in our midst.
Attention Pro Bono
Legal Ace:
Were in need of professional legal assistance as we work towards
501c3 status. We will do all the heavy lifting on documents and applications,
but are looking for 10-15 hours of free legal counsel to look over materials
and suggest revision. Some translation to legalese may be required.

Attention Graphic
Designers or Design Students:
Layout assistance needed for the 2007 VoiceCatcher book. Have fun
creating the anthology layout while adding to your layout experience and
portfolio!
We'll be working off last year's template, but there will be some
opportunity for creativity to create new folios and chapter title pages.
Volunteers should have their own computer (PC preferred, but Mac ok, too) and
InDesign software. If you know InDesign, or know it a little and want to
improve your skills, then this is a great chance to work with a seasoned
graphic designer on this project and get solid in the program while gaining
book layout experience.
