Jennifer Springsteen graduated with a BA in Literature from Virginia Commonwealth
University and with a Professional Collegiate License in Secondary
English from Longwood College. She taught high school English for three
years in Virginia before moving to the Northwest. For the past ten
years, Jennifer has facilitated teaching and learning strategies with
the Youth Volunteer Corps and AmeriCorps programs, with adjudicated
youth, with teachers and community professionals. | |
| She designed and
wrote numerous training manuals for youth and adults; several are
implemented nationally with youth service programs and in classrooms.
She has published poetry and short fiction in a variety of literary
magazines including Portland's own VoiceCatcher. |
