Workshop Leaders
Emily Trinkaus is trained in the Amherst Writers and Artists method
and started leading writing workshops in 1999. She holds an M.A. in
Womens Studies from Emory University, has facilitated groups with Write Around Portland, and has studied with Pat Schneider, Natalie Goldberg, and Julia Cameron. Emily is also a professional astrologer and writes for Tarot.com.
Jenn Lalime is trained in the Amherst Writers and Artists method. She holds an M.A. in Post-Secondary, Adult, and Continuing Education from Portland State University, has worked for over 10 years as a professional teacher and facilitator, and has studied with Tom Jenks.
Dawn Thompson works for Write Around Portland
where she facilitates workshops for adults and youth and acts as
Program Coordinator. She holds an M.A. in Creation Spirituality from
Naropa University and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of
Oregon. She is also a Certified Hypnotherapist. Dawn has self-published
a collection of short stories and a chapbook of poetry in collaboration
with her father, and is the writer for "Divine Eros," a photography
narrative exhibit about women mystics.
